Measure the cavity
Use the inside length and width of the mold and the total fill depth. This estimate assumes a rectangular cavity with uniform depth. Large inserts or objects reduce the space to fill only if their displacement is measured separately.
How the layer plan works
If you enter a maximum single-pour depth from your manufacturer's technical data, the calculator divides total depth by that limit and rounds the number of pours up. It then divides total depth and recommended resin evenly across those pours.
This calculator only divides the project volume based on the maximum pour depth you enter. Always follow the epoxy manufacturer’s technical data for maximum pour depth, cure time, temperature limits, and recoat instructions.
